We were recently honored to attend a presentation and fund-raising event for the Janus Youth Programs out of Portland, Oregon. What an incredible organization and group of dedicated and principled people from all walks of life. Janus raises fund for various outreaches for distressed youth either living on the street or in untenable family situations. About 30% of those rescued are LGBT which we think reaches the goal that Tom, Bob and Fran would approve of. Outreach and rehab are the prime goals of getting these young adults back on their feet and self-reliant.
We continue to fund and investigate non-profits and are narrowing down a good handful of effective and worthy efforts.
